Time for Obama to Shut Up, Put Up

As I write this there are no less than 100 of my 200 or so co-workers drooling on themselves mesmerized by the television as Barack Obama gives his inauguration speech as the 44th President of the United States. Countless others are doing the same at their desks via CNN.com or any of the other shill online news outlets.

When the smoke clears later this afternoon, Bush and Cheney will have made their long overdue exit, and we will finally get to see exactly what kind of "change" we're in for. Now-President Obama certainly has delievered enough empty promises of change, and has seemingly fleeced the better part of the entire globe. For our nation - and the world as a whole - hopefully he meant it, and will indeed deliver the kind of change people thought they were voting for.

Sadly, it's probably not going to resemble such a scenario one bit. After all, let's not forget that presidents are puppets - controlled by the Bilderbergers. And as I've covered in some detail in previous posts, Obama has surrounded himself with some frightening characters.

Alright, Lord Obama, Let's See Some "Real Change"

We've heard it for months. Two extremely bland words strung together to convey and connote absolutely nothing. Real. Change.

Of course the mesmerized public bought the siren song wholesale, and here we are - saddled with a president who's accomplished nothing politically, who completely phoned in his public service in the Senate for the past year - barely casting a single vote - and when he did, it was to support the criminal Wall Street bailout, and fall in lock step with the Neo-Cons.

So while Barack Obama emptily promises change, what it is that he really should do beginning in January to truly affect change?

Paul Joseph Watson at Prison Planet laid it out perfectly in a great article this morning. He called Obama out with laser like efficiency.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/will-obama-change-the-bush-police-state-or-expand-it.html

"Let’s be generous and give Obama the whole four years of his initial term to make significant progress on the following issues," Watson writes. "Here are some questions about 'change' that we are going to be keeping track of until 2012. "

- Will Obama repeal Patriot Acts I and II as well as reversing Bush’s signing statement and acknowledging the repeal of the John Warner Defense Authorization Act?

- Will Obama support Dennis Kucinich’s efforts to bring war crimes charges against Bush, Cheney and others for deceiving the country into a war or will he protect them against such charges like Nancy Pelosi has done?

- Will Obama bring war crimes charges against Bush, Cheney and others for authorizing torture and will the torture of suspects under U.S. detention, a complete violation of both the Constitution and the Geneva Conventions, cease under an Obama administration?

- Will Obama withdraw American troops from Iraq and Afghanistan without sending them away again to bomb another broken-backed third world country in the name of a UN-supported “humanitarian” war?

- Will Obama end the warrantless secret surveillance and phone-taps of American citizens?

- Will Obama follow through on his rhetorical support for the second amendment or will he seek to ban guns as he did in Illinois?

- Will Obama cease his support for the Bush-administration backed banker bailouts, hated by the majority of Americans, and target the real cause of the problem - the Federal Reserve - or will he continue to give taxpayers’ money to banks who are merely hoarding it all for themselves?

- Will Obama seek to continue the militarization of America and preparations for martial law through Northcom and the secret government or will he dismantle the police state that has been constructed over the last eight years by the Bush administration?

Great job as always by Watson. Let us just hope that we'll continue to be able to read articles at Prison Planet and write blogs like this one come next year - without being labeled a terrorist, anti-American, or sadly, even a racist.

With the way the public reacted last night, you'd have thought Christ, Muhammed, Yahweh, Beelzebub, Marvin the Martian, or whoever folks worship, had landed in Chicago's Grant Park. It was scary.

Now let me be clear. I completely understand the joy black voters must have felt. They've waited a long time for this, and they deserve to rejoice in the moment. However, it was the reaction of the white voters that was so disturbing. You'd have thought they just had their own 200-year-old slate cleaned. And based on what? Absolutely nothing but blind, mindless worship. These are folks who while hating Bush and his policies will now love the same agenda over the next four years.

Oh, and Revered Jackson, you piece of garbage, get one thing straight. Anyone in the know is well aware you couldn't care less about black people. You care about money and your fake image. Take your crocodile tears and drown them - along with yourself - in Lake Michigan.

Initial Reactions to the Dog and Pony Finale

In no great surprise, Barack Obama has been elected the 44th President of the United States within the past hour. My past posts should speak for my feelings about this, so I'll lay off of our "lord" and "savior" for now and let him have his night.

As for the rest of them - Joe Biden, as Vice President elect, takes a huge step from the strobe lights of the Democratic senate into the limelight. Hopefully this will help illuminate the fact that he's deeply involved in the 9/11 attacks, having met on 9/13/2001 with Mahmood Ahmed, head of the Pakistani ISI. Ahmed, of course, is alleged to have wired $100,000 to Mohamed Atta in the week leading up to the attacks.

John McCain will go back to being a Senator, and more notably, a very sick cancer patient. In a way it was sad to see him trotted out there by the establishment to take an embarrassing fall. No doubt he's a Neo-Con piece of garbage, but between the cancer, the Vietnam War, and his advanced age, it's questionable he even knows what's going on half of the time anymore.

If poetic justice does indeed exist, Sarah Palin will get jumped by a pack of hungry bears and dogs on her way back to her igloo. She is an absolute hypocritical, possibly retarded piece of filth who had no business being on the television over the past few months. Even though the whole election process is a joke in and of itself, she did nothing but further ruin our nation's image and reaffirm to the rest of the world that we're a bumbling mess. Talks of her being a GOP force in 2012 are laughable.

We still have two and a half months of the Neo-Cons left, but they're clearly out of gas. Cheney suddenly has heart problems again and you can rest assured you won't see him anymore. Bush for his part looks absolutely haggard during his sporadic appearances.

Now we wait to witness the fruition of all the recent predictions of imminent disaster upon Obama's election.

Some Congressional Races of Note

While the entire globe is mesmerized and diverted from reality by the dog and pony show of Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin, there are hundreds of congressional races taking place tomorrow as well; battles that are unquestionably more important than the puppet play at the forefront of the 24/7 cable "news" propaganda sessions.

At face, I believe that at least 95 percent of incumbent members of Congress should be voted out. They comprise a pack of cowardly criminals that on the Right have fell lock step with the Neo-Cons, and on the Left, have completely betrayed their base after the 2006 Congressional election shakeup - failing to stand up to the Neo-Cons and playing - to a tee - the flip side of an evil coin.

The complete support and promotion of two illegal wars. The support (albeit under the duress of Martial Law - yes, and don't roll your eyes) for the immoral Wall Street bailout. The perpetuation of illegal spying on the American people. And on and on and on.

http://www.infowars.net/articles/october2008/031008Sherman.htm

http://www.opednews.com/articles/Representatives-Were-Threa-by-Patrick-Henningsen-081004-301.html

Still, there are a few incumbents who not only should keep their job but who truly are champions of the constitution and the American people. There are also a few challengers who we should all hope steal the day.

Naturally, everyone - regardless of their party, location, platform, et. al - have their own slate of races they consider important. I'm not downplaying any congressional races here, only pointing out those which I feel most strongly about. Others should certainly do the same. The races I note -for the most part - are not competitive one way or the other. All the same, they mean something great to me personally.

1) Texas, 14th District - Dr. Ron Paul is running for his 11th term as a United States Representative after a historic presidential run - raising nearly $5 million while being completely blacked out by the MSM. There is no Democratic challenger (they weren't dumb enough to waste even $1 to trot one out against the Ron Paul Revolution). There are three Independent candidates, and while I support Independent candidates' campaigns - in theory - in 99% of scenarios, don't even try to mess with the Good Doctor. He's proven himself not only a people's champion outside of Texas, outside of the so-called Right Wing, and outside of the mainstream Republican Party, but outside of the entire criminal government currently enslaving us.

2) Ohio, 10th District - Dennis Kucinich appears safe to retain his seat against GOP challenger Jim Trakas, despite a myriad of money and lies leveled at the House's leading maverick. Kucinich has had an outstanding 2008. Not only did he throw his hat into a fruitless presidential fight against establishment shills Clinton and Obama, but he has tirelessly fought on the House floor for the impeachment of both George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Like Ron Paul, he also voted twice against the "bailout."

3) New Jersey, 5th District - Incumbent Neo-Con piece of filth Scott Garrett needs to go. There is no more plain and truthful way to put it. During the past year I moved from NJ-5 to NJ-9, but have not changed my registration info. Thus, I will return to NJ-5 to vote against Garrett. In short, if you need the skinny on him, visit http://retiregarrett.blogspot.com/.

4) Minnesota, U.S. Senate - Talk about a carnival. Here you have incumbent Neo-Con trash Norm Coleman pitted against semi-amusing comedian Al Franken. A parade of fools if we've ever seen one. Well, enter Dean Barkley - an independent who has actually served two months in the U.S. Senate. He was appointed by then-Governor Jesse Ventura to serve out the stint of Paul Wellstone after the bizarre and convenient plane crash of 2002. As of late last week, Barkley was polling between 17 and 20 percent, and had received around $40,000 in donations from listeners of the Alex Jones Show after a dual appearance by Barkley and Ventura on the show. Barkley has a real shot tomorrow.

5) New Jersey, 9th District - Incumbent Dem Steve Rothman is a pretty good guy. I covered him for two years (1999-2001) during my stint in North Jersey journalism, and he really did get a whole lot of positive stuff done for his constituency. He voted against the bailout on the first go-around and for it on the second, but as I mentioned above, there was the threat of Martial Law. In fairness, I think you can only judge the House members on their first vote for that reason alone. He is my current Rep, but he's pretty much a lock to win. I'd rather go back "home" and vote against Garrett.

Taliban/al-Qaeda "Split." Ominous Sign for Pakistan?

Sources today are reporting that there are on going talks between the Taliban, and the regimes of Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan - aimed at ending conflict in Central Asia and allegedly signaling a severing of ties between the Taliban and al-CIA-da.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/10/06/afghan.saudi.talks/index.html

Well, that sounds all warm and fuzzy, but give us a break. The Saudis, the Afghans, and al-Qaeda (such as it exists) are all pawns of U.S. Intelligence and the global elite. They'll do what they're told, when they're told and how they're told - as decided on by the Bilderbergers.

What's really going on here is a quiet but shrewdly calculated shift away from the Middle East and on to Central Asia as a focus of gremlin enemies. It manipulates Pakistan into the crosshairs, and more importantly, it's an huge step closer to conflict with Russia and China.

With Barack Obama seemingly a lock to be the next President, it only stands to reason that the government and the media begin to turn the public's attention and anxieties to this region of the world. Obama's foreign policy guru, Zbigniew Brzezinski, is ever lurking in the shadows, and he's spent the past 40 or so years obsessing over how to annihilate all members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. See his 1997 book, The Grand Chessboard.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/int/sco.htm

http://www.takeoverworld.info/grandchessboard.html

Last August, it was Obama who declared that he is ready and willing to attack Pakistan in the name of fighting al-Qaeda.

http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSN0132206420070801

Iraq and Iran are largely Neo-Con agendas. They'll do if need be under an Obama regime, but the Leftist eyes are definitely on bigger fish. With Dick Cheney unable to carry out false flag terror earlier this year, aimed at launching an attack on Iran, the Neo-Con war aspirations have all but fizzled out unless John McCain somehow wins next month.

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/07/31/cheney-proposal-for-iran-war/

Look for less and less about Iran and more and more about Pakistan as we get nearer to the Obama coup.

Arab Neighbors Issue Bizzare, Frightening Warning to Iran

Over the weekend, Egypt and Saudi Arabia warned Iran not to allow the U.S. and Israel to stage a provocation as a pretext for a strike against Tehran. On one hand, it's certainly ominous that the rest of the world - outside of the U.S. and British media - knows and is reporting that the Zionists and the rogues atop the U.S. Government are gearing up to annihilate Iran. At the same time, what do they want the Iranians to do?

http://www.prisonplanet.com/iran-warned-not-to-allow-war-pretext.html

Iran has time and again said that while they will not hesitate to defend themselves, they certainly aren't looking for a fight with the U.S. and Israel. They've allowed weapons inspections. They've looked the other way when the U.S. has backed Sunni al-Qaeda rebels to stage bombings inside of Iran.

http://www.democracynow.org/2007/2/28/investigative_reporter_seymour_hersh_us_indirectly

Aside from all of this, what do Cairo and Riyadh expect from Iran? If the true axis-of-evil - U.S., Israel, Britain - decide tomorrow they want to stage a pretext, it's done. End of story. They already masterfully pulled off 9/11, the 7/7 London bombings, the attack on U.S.S. Liberty, and on and on. That said, I have no idea what the Egyptians and Saudis are driving at here.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/omicinski/081.htm

It is interesting to note that in addition to a number of European and Central Asian countries, it was countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia that tried to warn the U.S. in the weeks and months before 9/11 that an attack was imminent. The only problem was, they were warning the attackers themselves. Now, they're essentially warning the Iranians - though it's certainly not a secret to anyone let alone Iran - that an attack is very likely, very soon. Just last week the U.S. rounded out its largest naval deployment in nearly two decades, as they now have five warships in the Persian Gulf region.

Of course there was also last month's revelation from Sy Hersh that Dick Cheney had as many as a dozen different scenarios for a provocateur event to blame on Iran. He detailed only one, which was ultimately rejected.

Could one of the other 11 or so be the event the Egyptians and Saudis are warning against, and that Iran will be powerless to stop?

Neo-Con Hubris Reaches New Heights

Now that it's all but admitted that factions of the U.S. Government are behind Georgia's attacks against Russian military bases and civilians in the provinces of Ossetia and Abkhazia, it's apparent the Neo-Cons are more reckless than ever, and are going to leave one heck of a mark before departing in January.

Media across the world (aside from the corporate-owned media in the U.S. and England) are reporting that at least two black mercenary soldiers with American flags festooned on black uniforms have been found dead, and one black merc with American regalia has been captured along with Georgian aggressors.

www.infowars.com/?p=3871

http://www.prisonplanet.com/civilian-genocide-dead-americans-cost-of-us-russia-proxy-war.html

http://www.prisonplanet.com/american-mercenary-captured-by-russians.html

It's bad enough that the U.S. is using Georgia as a proxy to attack Russia, but how much bolder could they be than sending in black guys, likely employed by Blackwater (given the black uniforms) with American flags on their Darth Vader uniforms. It couldn't possibly get more blatantly arrogant. The media makes it even worse by acting as if Russia is the evildoer here.

http://www.minnpost.com/stories/2008/08/11/2904/russias_attacks_reviving_cold_war_worries

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hV2N6fVKS5slf10A13Dj_uIdaZ4QD92FDSLG0

http://www.theconservativevoice.com/article/33836.html

Of course, the Neo-Cons have probably calculated well enough that the overwhelming majority of American sheeple will not even know this is going on - given the fact the Olympics are in full-swing, and John Edwards may have a love child. Double insurance probably rests on the fact that most Americans who have heard this story probably think that Russia has attacked the southern U.S. state of Georgia to, as Alex Jones said yesterday, "get our peaches."

It's not as if we can rely on the MSM to accurately or fairly report any of this. After all, we just had Dick Cheney recently accused of planning the next 9/11, and it was nowhere to be found on U.S. news.

As we speak, Russia is steamrolling Georgia, and at any moment could destroy them if they wanted to. Of course, if they were to dare bombard Georgia in retaliation, they would be called terrorist aggressors, and condemned - at the very least - by the U.S. and the West. More likely, a forceful Russian response would be met by further hardcore actions by the NATO forces, and a complete escalation. Russia would then naturally be labeled as in league with al-Qaeda - in the same vain that Iran would be labeled terrorists if Israel bombed them to hell and back, and had the audacity to fight back and protect themselves.

Speaking of Iran, it's all too convenient that the U.S. is stirring the pot in the former Soviet region as it steps up its plans for an attack against Iran. More U.S. forces are being moved into waters off of Iran as we speak.

http://www.debka.com/headline.php?hid=5499

The Russians, of course, have warned the U.S. from some time now that an attack on Iran would not be met lightly. What better way to divert attention than to have the Russians caught up in their own mess?

For those who don't think we're backing Georgia - just look it up; but for a quick figure - Georgia has had the third largest military presence in Iraq (some 3000 troops). They have now pulled those troops out to fight this new proxy war, but they have certainly been our lapdogs for a long time.

Not to be lost in all of this are the calls for Russia to stop the violence (remember, they were attacked first) by our President, and the two morons running to take his spot. McCain was quoted this morning as saying, "Russian President Medvedev and Prime Minister Putin must understand the severe, long-term negative consequences that their government’s actions will have for Russia’s relationship with the U.S. and Europe."

Bush and Cheney have also made their tough-guy stances, warning Russia to back off - complete insanity considering they're behind it all!

If this whole situation was not such a dark harbinger, the Neo-Con statements would be up for jokes of the month.

"Terrorist" Limo Driver Convicted of "War Crimes"

A jury of six at Guantanamo Bay yesterday found Salim Hamdan guilty of war crimes and aiding terrorists. Hamdan was Osama Bin-Laden's limo driver. That's it. A guy who drove a billionaire around. No different than the driver for Paris Hilton, Michael Jordan, or Barack Obama for that matter.

This is nothing more than a side show aimed at fooling the public into thinking our government is being tough on terror. It gives the good ole boys and yuppies a sense of false security, so maybe they won't have to shine a flashlight into their bushes and make sure there are no bearded guys skulking after dark tonight.

Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the so-called 9/11 Mastermind, even once said that Hamdan was a mere chauffeur.

http://www.infowars.com/?p=3794

But, hey, it's not like they can prosecute any active al-CIA-da operatives. That would, after all, be the government indicting its own minions. No bother, the media shills will still hail this as a major victory in the war on terror. I mean, just days ago, they reported that Abu Khabab al-Masri, al-Qaeda's top weapons expert, died for the second time. Obviously, the MSM knows the retarded public isn't paying any real attention, and even if they think some might be, they simply don't care.

http://www.roguegovernment.com/news.php?id=11076

Then again, I can't even blame the general public if they aren't keeping track. It's like trying to solve some AP Calculus problem. We have the #3 in al-Qaeda killed four times, the #4 man killed twice, the #2 killed three times, and on and on and on.

The only bit of truth throughout this whole charade was a couple of weeks back when a Naval prosecutor slipped-up and admitted out loud that the Air Force blew Flight 93 to kingdom come on 9/11.

Want to talk war crimes? How about Bush, Cheney, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld and the MSM lying to the country and luring more than 4200 U.S. solidiers to their deaths in Iraq because Saddam Hussein had WMDs and was complicit in 9/11.

Clinton: From "First Black Prez" to Racist? So say Obama Camp and the MSM

Since way back in the early 1990s, Bill Clinton was unofficially tabbed "America's First Black President." Both the black community and the corporate media had no problem in perpetuating this myth right up through this year's Primary season.

Now the Obama camp is claiming Bill is a racist, based on certain semi-distasteful remarks he made during the heated battle between Hillary and Barack. In and of itself, this is more meaningless nonsense - regardless of Bill's true feelings. What is the issue here, is that we have the Vice President scheming up the next false flag terror attack, we have the government running around imprisoning everyone for the 2001 anthrax attacks - subsequently killing suspects while in custody - with absolutely no just cause, and it's come out that the White House was already taking Cipro - an anti-Anthrax pill - the day before 9/11?

http://www.infowars.com/?p=3736

http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/08/03/journalism/

These are smoking guns! Hell, they're smoking missiles! Is the MSM covering any of this? Aside from a few log cabins here and a couple of caves there, you can't find anything on this stuff. Yet, I just finished watching a 20-minute discussion on CNN about whether Bill Clinton is racist. It's even gotten to the point where the most respected living American journalist, Seymour Hersh, is taking a rather lassie-fare approach to the White House's criminality.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/cheney-weighs-fratricide-to-sell-war-on-iran.html

It's always been said the media were the fourth branch of government. Given the criminal activities of the original three branches over the past decade or so, they certainly fit right in - and certainly deserve the official crowning as the fourth corner of the tyrannical box we're trappped in.

Cheney Tried to Stir Up the Next 9/11

It seems our murderer of a Vice President tried to get our military to carry out another 9/11 - this time under the guise of fake warships blown up by the Iranians.

Pulitzer winning journalist Seymour Hersh was taped by Think Progress saying, on the table was “how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,” part of an ongoing effort to provide an excuse to attack Iran. “There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war.

“There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war,” Hersh explains. “The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up.”

http://www.infowars.com/?p=3681

It's not like this is very surprising, but it is appalling that the MSM is not covering this at all. It's fine to cover Barack Obama going to the bathroom, or John McCain having lunch, but who cares about our Vice President lobbying for WWIV?

The underlying message of this story should be a slap in the face to those who still think 9/11 was carried out by a bunch of cave dwellers.

"How could our government kill 3000 of our citizens?" Well, just look up and read, Sally Soccer Mom. They're hell-bent on doing it again!

When is the public going to wake up? We aren't making these things up. Gulf of Tonkin, 1993 WTC Bombing, OKC, 9/11... it just never ends with these megalomaniacs. When there is an agenda to be carried out, they just kill a bunch of us and the support for the next step is solidified.

Impeachment Hearing a Complete Circus of Corruption

Today's hearing before the House Judiciary Committee to explore George Bush and Dick Cheney's abuse of executive powers devolved into a Neo-Con-worshiping charade before it even began.

It started yesterday when Committee Chair John Conyers said there would be absolutely no tolerance of discussing articles of impeachment, or attacking Bush or Cheney. This of course tied the hands of Dennis Kucinich - who brought forward the article of impeachment leading to the hearing - as well as the rest of the witnesses there to testify.

Neo-Con representative Lamar Smith (Tx.) led off by saying, "we all know, the media all know, nothing will come out of this hearing." He added that there is no evidence to support impeachment, and no evidence of criminal activity by the Bush Administration. How is this any different than a judge - before hearing one witness's testimony - saying "we know the defendant is innocent, there's no evidence to support any other theory, and we all can now go home?"

Kucinich got his chance to speak, and while he was able to read off the points about no WMDs, no 9/11 link, no threat, et al., Conyers felt he had to reassert that Kucinich was not allowed to read any of his actual articles. I suppose none of this should come as a surprise.

In the end, the important thing is that we have someone like Kucinich out there valiantly fighting for us, rather than the corporate-military-industrial complex.

Kucinich Readies for Friday's Showdown

Congressman Dennis Kucinich will take the next step toward the impeachment of George W. Bush on Friday when he goes before the House Judiciary Committee with an article citing abuse of Executive Power, in particular in the lead up to the Iraq war. Yesterday Kucinich dropped in on the Alex Jones Show and pleaded with listeners to contact their representatives, as well as all media outlets, and let them know just how important this hearing is. He also posted a YouTube video on Wednesday which again outlined the fundamentals and reasoning for his latest impeachment article.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/kucinich-vs-the-establishment-impeachment-hearing-on-friday.html

While the criminality of the Bush Administration is an open-and-shut case, and the overwhelming majority of Americans support impeachment, leading Democrats continue to try and brush Kucinich and his articles aside, with a endless amount of empty and insulting arguments. Further evidence that aside from certain window dressing rhetoric, there's no difference between the parties.

In a sickening - if not surprising - last-minute move, Judiciary Chair John Conyers is now trying to relegate the hearing to one that's as short and ineffectual as possible. He has said, "no one at Friday's impeachment hearing can accuse Bush or Cheney of any crime, or any impeachable offense, or dishonorable conduct, or even lying." Then what is the point of the hearing, John?

This remark comes one week after Conyers was quoted as saying, “credible allegations of serious misconduct” by Bush and Cheney need to be researched and reviewed. More doublespeak from one of the most treasonous closet Neo-Con admirers on the Left.

Kucinich also pointed out on Wednesday that moving forward with impeachment may just slow down the Neo-Cons' plans for an attack on Iran. As Bush and Co. near the end of their reign, an attack appears ever more likely.

Whatever does happen on Friday, we all need pray for the Congressman's well-being. He's certainly crossed the rubicon when it comes to dealing with these murderers, and don't forget what happened to Paul Wellstone in 2002 after he wouldn't be strong-armed by Dick Cheney.

http://www.opednews.com/thoreau1203_wellstone_assassinated.htm

Just two days ago, Congressman Ron Paul narrowly dodged what was likely an assassination attempt when his plane needed an emergency landing because of a depressurized cabin. In a twist of irony, but not likely coincidence, Dr. Paul and six other congress members were on their way to vote on The Aviation Safety Enhancement Act of 2008.

http://www.khou.com/topstories/stories/khou080722_tj_congressplane.7f4faa58.html

Paul's position on the issue is - to say the least - not favorable toward the FAA or the Government. Hmm...

Rove the Latest Neo-Con Proven Above the Law

First there was George Bush declaring himself a dictator last year with Presidential Decision Directive 51. At any time, he can declare a state of emergency, institute martial law, and strip Congress of any continuity of government. Then we had Dick Cheney claiming to be outside of the Executive branch of the government - not a Congressman or a judge, that leaves him as some sort of demonic rouge. Although I suppose that's been apparent for quite a few years now.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html

Last week we saw the anointing of Karl Rove as the newest Neo-Con God who dare not be questioned. The former White House advisor, known as "Bush's Brain" - as if that somehow is complimentary - was subpoenaed by Congress to answer allegations of political pressure at the Justice Department, including whether he influenced the prosecution of a former Democratic governor of Alabama. Rather than show up, he fled the country saying there's no way he's going to answer any questions.

http://www.sltrib.com/opinion/ci_9855680

Word is Congress will now indict Rove with contempt of Congress. Those Dems mean business!

I hate to inform the Judiciary Commitee, but I think we're still waiting for other former White House staffers to show up to face their contempt charges. This pathetic attempt to wield power by Congress will probably be as effective as trying to coerce Bush and Cheney into testifying on record about 9/11, or for that matter, putting together a 9/11 Commission that would unearth some truth and give victim's families some answers.

Truth be told, with what's lurking on the economic and military horizons, we'd probably be lucky if this type of chicanery was as criminal as it got as Bush and Co. run out the clock on their reign of terror.

The March To Tehran

Thank you Seymour Hersh of The New Yorker for your "breaking news" piece on the Neo-Cons' amped-up aggressions toward Iran. You're only a few months late though. Any reputable alternative media site has been reporting for three years now that Washington has been incrementally building towards a mega-attack on Iran. Truthfully, the U.S. has been passively attacking Tehran and it's outlying areas for up to five years now, but things look like they're about to go Shock and Awe style before George and Dick leave office in January.

Despite the fact that warships have been moving in for the past 18 months, and the rhetoric has been growing (recall - Iran backs al-Qaeda), the past few days have been the first time the MSM has really begun to let on that we're headed toward yet another illegal war.

Speaking of Iran backing al-Qaeda... the MSM has been championing this talking point for quite some time. However, this New Yorker piece is probably the first MSM evidence that the CIA is behind these breakaway faction, Sunni terrorist groups that have been wreaking havoc in Iran. Once more, let's recap. Any aggressive, bomb-happy, outlaw terrorist group found in the Middle East or Central Asia is almost always Sunni. Iran is a Shiite nation. Arch enemies of these so-called al-Qaeda groups. It doesn't matter though. The MSM will spin and spin, and the average moron on the streets of the U.S. will continue to believe that Iranians are evil Arab Sunnis in league with al-Qaeda. All the while, this latest report alleges that our Congress rubber-stamped $400 million for Bush to have the CIA rile up these groups and have them go on a bombing raid inside of Iran.

As far back as 2005, U.N. Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter went on record as saying that intelligence gathering and the mobilization of indigenous opposition groups (Sunni al-Qaeda) are all being carried out by the CIA-backed special forces routed in Iran. One of the favorite M.O.s of these groups are massive suicide bombings on mosques, buses, schools, and the rest of it. Funny how these same attacks within Iraq are reason for us to stay there and demonize that set of Middle Eastern people.

It also appears that one of the largest groups our CIA is currently backing in it's antagonizing of the Iranians is the MEK (Mujahedeen-e Khalq), an anti-Shiite Iranian rebel group once fully supported by Saddam Hussein. This is a group also alleged to have supported the 1979 takeover of the Iranian U.S. Embassy and taking of American hostages for 444 days. But like always, we cherry pick our rules and morals. Don't forget, we've been both friend and foe in less than 30 years with both Osama bin-Laden and Saddam Hussein.

The Neo-Con Stretch Run

We're rapidly approaching the last half-year of the Bush Administration's tour of tyranny and terror. While the general public is running around asking "Obama or McCain?" "Who will be the VP nominees?" and "Lakers or Celtics?", the real question every American should be asking his or herself is: "What grand finale do the Neo-Cons have in store for us?"

There has been a rash of potentially ominous statements recently from the Neo-Con camp. Of course there's the ongoing talking point of "all options are on the table" regarding Iran. It's no secret that Bush, Cheney and the rest of them are absolutely clawing at the walls in anticipation of annihilating the Iranians. This has been on the table for years. Ron Paul stood before the House as far back as 2004 and pled for our criminal regime to exercise restraint in regards to Iran. The only potential saving grace is that at last week's Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Va., the European contingent was dead set against the U.S. attacking Iran. Hopefully, this will be enought to stall the aggression.

There have been some frightening similarities over the past year or so between Iran-related overtures, and the lead-up to the war with Iraq. Aside from the White House rhetoric, there has been the positioning of three U.S. warships right outside of Iranian waters, as well as nonsensical attempts to link Iran to al-Qaeda. Remember that Iran is Shiite. The opposite branch of Islam, and eternal enemies of the Sunni al-Qaeda. Of course, al-Qaeda as it's been portrayed doesn't exist. But the small terrorist groups that actually do run around bombing buses and such are indeed Sunni, based out of Saudi Arabia.

Then we have Bush demanding "bring me Bin Laden before I leave office." Now, by all legitimate (ie - non MSM) accounts, Osama has been dead for a long time. Whether he is still running around the caves of Afghanistan or not is completely irrelevant. This ultimatum from Bush could very well mean a late fall/early winter appearance of another staged video. We could well be looking at footage of a blown up cave, or an operative dressed up in Muslim garb with a fake beard. Complete with the proclamation that we've finally, after more than seven years, captured the boogeyman. This would naturally justify the entire war on terror, and proactively justify any subsequent wars or infringements on liberty that McCain or Obama have in store for the American people.

We also saw Newt Gingrich in the past couple of days spew more terror mongering and propaganda. This time in response to the Supreme Court's 5-4 ruling in favor of Habeas Corpus. At least one branch of the government still has a few (if very few) scruples. The high court ruled that it is not constitutional to round up anyone the government wants and deny them of due process - whether or not they are suspected of potential terrorism. Well, that just isn't going to fly with Newt.

Gingrich pronounced that the result of this ruling will be the destruction of an American city. That of course is code for a nuclear attack on a U.S. metropolis. While the general public will buy this wholesale, it's an unbelievable attempt at fear mongering. Gingrich is no doubt insinuating that al-Qaeda will nuke one of our major cities if we're not able to round everyone up and throw them into a black hole. The problem with this is twofold. First, al-Qaeda doesn't exist. Secondly, even if you want to believe they're hiding in your bathtub, they're not Pakistan, they're not China, they're not India, and they're not Israel. They... don't... have... nukes.

Kucinich Steps Up and Stares Down the Evil

Not that it's getting much mainstream air time, but Dennis Kucinich has stepped up and done what everyone talks about but does little to move forward. This past Tuesday, the Ohio congressman put forth 35 articles for the impeachment of President Bush. Like Ron Paul, Kucinich was completely blacked out by the MSM during the election primary season. And like Paul, Dennis means business.

For years now, we've seen media talking heads, patriot groups, bloggers, et al. do a lot of talking about the need to impeach our treasonous president. It wasn't until June 10, 2008 that someone actually did something about it. To say overdue is not even close to the truth. If a move for impeachment against Bill Clinton or Andrew Johnson was justified given their crimes, then this is mandatory. Let's take a very quick look at the rap sheet.

We have 3000 dead in a government-sponsored terrorist act - in which Bush was likely not responsible, but certainly complicit. We have 4000 dead soldiers, tens of thousands more injured, 1 million dead Iraqi's and our national name and credibility destroyed - based on a pack of absolute lies. We have $7 trillion missing from the Pentagon since Bush took office. We have no more 4th Amendment, and complete domestic and global lawlessness - particularly from our police and military. This of course is the tip of the iceberg.

Ideally, Congressman Kucinich will get the support he needs to vote these articles through. Of course, it's highly unlikely given both sides of the aisle play for the same covert team. In any case, it's become apparent that as the only 9/11 Truth candidate, and stepping up against first Cheney and now Bush, Kucinich is at the tip of the spear in the movement to regain our liberties, our rights, and our country.
